Riding up and down the side walk at the old apartments with our bikes My old friends and I would ride our bikes up and down the side walks every day. I remember when the chain would pop off, you'd had become a mechanic for a minute and you were the hero of the day after you fixed it. I remember one day we wanted to make the bike sound like a motorcycle so I got a plastic cup and we put it on the back between the tire and a metal part we had and we'd be racing all the way down to see how would be the champion of that day. Being able to walk into your friends apartment cause their parents were cool with you coming in and out their apartment. My mom would always tell me to go play outside and I would too. I would go downstairs and knock on the door and you can hear someone say come in and it'll always be open and I'll go into my friends room and we'd be playing video games and more. Scars from crazy ideas I have a few scars from the memories. I have this sc

Advocate

Image
I was assigned to was a Advocate. An Advocate  have an inborn sense of idealism and morality, but what sets them apart is that they are not idle dreamers, but people capable of taking concrete steps to realize their goals and make a lasting positive impact. It's a rare personality, about 1% of the population has this type of personality but are able to leave their mark in the world.  I agree that this personality type is my type of personality because most of the information it takes about id what I am, for instants, caring for people before myself and needing to be alone to "recharge" before going back to myself.  I disagree about how I can make easy connections with different people, I'm actually shy and anxious to make new friends. I think this personality is a lot more like me and not the others cause the others have a lot more mistakes that are a lot more dramatic than me.  Personalities change mostly when something traumatic happens, like for me, my step d

Shirley Chisholm: The amazing women in congress

Image
Shirley Chisholm, The first African American Congresswoman in the 1960s. She was in Congress for working on Education and Labor Committee along with helping form Black Caucus. 1972, She made history again by running in the presidential nomination, working for seven terms in office until she retired from teaching and as a public speaker. Shirley wrote a few books also, naming them: "Unbought and Unbossed, The Good Fight. Shirley Chisholm was 80 years old when she passed away, she passed January 1, 2005. She was from  New York City, NY but passed away at Ormond Beach, Florida. She inspires me because she was just a normal woman, teaching at a school and soon was nominated to join the Congress Election with probably only males. She proved that Women can run governmental office for a few years. You didn't really see women running in elections, you only saw them nursing, teaching and being stay at home wives while taking care of their kids, you didn't see colored women runnin

We all have our differences. Cake over cookies. Dogs over cats. Maybe even the other way around. This topic is the topic that some people already fight over, maybe even you will fight over it with your friends or family.... Coke or Pepsi? Coca-Cola is very famous around the world. Over 200 countries actually. People drink it every day. If you don't drink it, coke is famous for having Santa Claus and/or the Polar Bears so maybe you know Coca-Cola by those advertisements. Coca-Cola was made on January 29, 1892 so we had it for over a 100 years. A lot of people have the satisfaction for coca-cola cause of how sweet and how it gives a nice desire to the tip of their tongues. Many others that don't like it say it takes like cough syrup, gross right? But you may have a different taste for Coca-Cola. Nowadays, people put different flavors to make it more sweeter or make it taste better than the original taste. Flavors like Lime, Cherry, Lemon, and much more. Coca-Cola owns at 17%

Don't let them hang out with the wrong people

Image
Dear Friend, I understand your friend is hanging out with the wrong people. I've been there before. I still hang out with some of the bad people but not very often. I might have a few suggestions that could help but I don't know if they'll help. 1. Understanding You have to understand that if your friend wants to hang out with the wrong people, that's their decision. You can't change their mind or try to talk them out of it. If they want to hang out with them, let them face the consequences. I know you have a hard time trying to convince them to get away from the bad crowd but sometimes you have to let the person make their own mistakes and deal with the after effects. It's a "either or" situation. My friends tried to convince me to to stay away from the bad group but I didn't listen, I only stuck with the bad people because I thought they were my friends, I thought they'd be the people to run to. Nope. They were terrible people. What can
